Apple iPhone 3G Review

In a nutshell: The iPhone 3G is an amazingly user-friendly touchscreen phone. It includes many powerful features such as GPS navigation, OS X applications, fast web browsing, Apple's famous music-playing capabilities, up to 16 GB of built-in memory, and Wi-Fi support. But at the same time it's a very expensive device that misses a number of features that we've come to expect from high-end smartphones. We recommend the new iPhone 3G S instead.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro Review

In a nutshell: The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro has everything that the original X10 Mini has, plus a slide-out physical keyboard. It's an ultra-compact smartphone running Google's Android OS, with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, aGPS with Google Maps, a fast processor and support for 16GB of memory. Connectivity includes WiFi and HSPA. But the small screen size, poor battery life and old version of Android are a disappointment.

HTC Wildfire Review

In a nutshell: The HTC Wildfire brings Android technology to the budget smartphone sector. Incorporating the latest version of Android and HTC Sense plus a superbly responsive capacitive touchscreen, the Wildfire is both easy to use and supremely powerful, with access to thousands of apps. Combined with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, a media player, GPS, Google Maps, fast internet, a fast processor, plenty of memory and a big battery, this is quite probably the best smartphone in its price range. Available in Black, Graphite, Red or White.

Apple iPhone 3G S Review

In a nutshell: The iPhone 3G S is easily the best iPhone ever. Apple have filled in the missing pieces of the jigsaw and created possibly the best phone / media player / internet device ever. Highlights include GPS navigation with a digital compass, OS X applications from the App Store, super fast web browsing, Apple's famous music-playing capabilities, up to 32 GB of built-in memory, and Wi-Fi. The only real problem is the price.

Apple iPhone 4 Review

In a nutshell: The iPhone 4 is a flawed beauty. The main improvements are the extra high resolution display, the improved 5 megapixel camera, HD video recording, a second camera for video calls and longer battery life. But there are problems getting a signal and it's phenomenally expensive too.

Nokia C3 Review

In a nutshell: The Nokia C3 is a cut-price BlackBerry lookalike, and that's no bad thing! It offers a full QWERTY keyboard, mobile e-mail, a basic camera and a media player, plus Wi-Fi, Facebook and Twitter and excellent battery life. Available in Black, Blue, Gold or Pink.

LG Cookie KP500 Review

In a nutshell: The LG KP500 is a touchscreen phone for those on a budget. It's a compact device but with a large touchscreen display that's easy and fun to use. With a 3.2 megapixel camera, a media player, an FM radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a memory card slot, this phone has all the essentials. Although it misses out on 3G and a top class camera, it has most features that most people will want, and for the money you'd be hard pressed to find anything better than this! Now available in Pink
